NEED TO KNOW

HOW IT WORKS

When a person is charged with a crime they have the option of posting bail. The bond amount is set by the Court according to the charges. The cost of the bond is 10% of the total bond amount. Miami Bail will require some form of guarantee, or collateral to assure the client's appearance in Court.

In Miami-Dade County all new inmates are booked and processed at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. This jail is commonly known as Miami TGK Jail. Once the person is booked and PID we are able to post the bond. When the Bail Bond is posted the defendant is released within a few hours.

The defendant is required to attend all hearings as ordered by the Court until the case is closed. If there are multiple cases, which happens frequently, each case number might have separate dates. It is the defendant's responsibility to be aware of any scheduled court appearances, and to notify the Clerk of the Courts of any address changes.
